Question : Cell Shading (Cartoon) Look in Flash
|
|
Hi,
I'm looking to achieve this "cell-shading" look for a web site I'm designing, similar to a cartoon-type scene in 3D.
I can use Swift3D or Plasma to create the 3D environment easy enough, but the problem I'm having is to make it INTERACTIVE (keyword here!), i.e. when you click on a button it will go to a specific part of the environment. I did some searching and this is EXACTLY the look I am aiming for: http://www.mercedes-benz.com/e/cars/clk_cabrio/special03/index.html BTW nice car LOL
Thanks for your time, I really appreciate the help.

I had a look at it and don't think you should have any problem creating one provided that you have "plasma" and "Flash".
Note that outputing a cartoon shading animation is merely a Frame-by-frame techniques where a series of graphic symbols are place successively like a video clip, you then use ActionScript in Flash to jump to a specific frame upon mouse clicking. To this end, you may have to render the scene to different clips of animation and bring them into Flash Library.
