Question : read priv1.edb

I have a copy of a Priv1.edb file along with the priv1.stm file from an exchange 2003 server. How can copy those files over to my exchange 2003 server and access the email messages in these files.

Currently my exchange 2003 server is a production server with about 43 users on it. I cannot  or would not want to disrupt access to this production server.

Is the easiest way to mount this store to copy the file to a fresh install of Exchange 2003 server in a virtual machine? What kind of security problems am I going to run into?
