Question : Microsoft Transporter 2007 Suite for Lotus Domino:  Replying to migrated messages problem.

I'm using the Microsoft Transporter Suite 2007 for Lotus Domino to migrate to Exchange 2007 Server from Lotus Notes Domino Server 6.5.6 (with R5.012 clients).  The Microsoft Transporter Suite is installed, configured, and running on our network.   I have already migrated a few users mailboxes from Lotus to Exchange using the migration wizard.  Because the two systems will co-exist for a time, I also have directory synching and the free-busytime connector up and running.

The problem is with replying to messages.  We've noticed a problem that one cannot reply to migrated mail messages once a user is migrated from Lotus/Domino to Exchange.  For anyone familiar with Lotus Notes addressing, a user in Notes sending to another user in Notes will send to an address typical of "John Doe/OU/Certifier@NOTESDOMAIN" and not the SMTP address.  Once those messages are migrated to Exchange, they are still in Notes addressing format.  Of course Exchange 2007 uses native SMTP.  This is a problem when a recently migrated user opens Outlook and attempts to reply to the Notes address.  The documentation leads me to believe that it's possible to reply to these migrated messages, but I have noted that the documentation is incorrect in some areas (where setting up the free-busytime connector between Lotus Notes and Exchange is concerned).

Do I have a misconfiguration somewhere?

As for new messages, any new messages from Lotus Notes delivered to a migrated Exchange user can be replied to just fine as the messages are coming into Exchange using internet address.

So is it possible to be able to reply to Notes addresses?
