Question : Dreamweaver MX pop-up menus hidden behind .swf
|
|
I have encountered a problem with Dreamweaver MX pop-up menus, and I am writing in the hope someone on this list can please help.
You can see this at http://www.beaconsglow.com/html/index.html, if you select the Products menu option. (None of the links work right now, but that is not the problem.)
I created pop-up menus using Dreamweavers Add Behavior window. The menus work fine until I add a Flash animation. The problem is that the menu becomes hidden behind the .swf file. (There are four menu choices below Ganz Cottage Bears, which dont show at all. If you click on any of the top three choices under products, the second-level menus can be seen half-hidden.) I tried adding layers and giving the layer containing the menus a higher z value than the layer containing the .swf, but it still doesnt help.
A second problem is that the two-level menus look fine when I preview them in a browser on my hard drive, but when I move them to the server, the arrows that should indicate a second-level menu appear as a broken images. I have sent the page to the server including dependent files, but the arrows still dont show.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you in advance!
