Question : My timer control is gone

I rarely use Access, and haven't opened it in a very long time, but I just opened it up to mess around a little bit.  I went to put a timer control on my form, but there is not timer control...I have checked every individual entry in the "More Controls" list by using the "More Controls" button, but it is not in there either...

Anyone know how I can get it back...it would also be nice to know where it went just to satisfy my curiosity...

Answer : My timer control is gone

There is no timer control in Access. A form has a Timer Event and a TimerInterval, however ... you would use that as you would a timer.

TimerInterval is in milliseconds, so 1000 means that whatever code you put in the On Timer event will be fired each second.
