Question : Premium Versus Basic OWA Mode

When I logon to my OWA from my home PC through IE and I choose the "Premium" logon (the default), all my icons/graphics are messed up and I can not do a thing because nothing shows up normally. If I logon using the "Basic" mode OR use Firefox (which does not have the premium option) I am fine and everything looks normal (except the premium look is not there of course). I checked my IE plugins and all are OK. If I remote into our work network through RDP connection and use the IE on the terminal server, I can logon using the "Premium Mode" with ZERO issues. One other person I have spoken to has the same issue, but not everyone. SO, I am pretty sure it is not anything on the server side, or I would not be able to use the Premium features when on the Terminal Server and everyone would be having the same problem. At this point I am thinking it must be something with my PC's IE. Does anyone know what the Premium mode uses that could be messed up on my PC?

Answer : Premium Versus Basic OWA Mode

Greetings, SundeyPSU !

See if a program or plugin is interfering with IE.
1. Disable third party extensions. With IE open, go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced. Uncheck "Third party extensions". Click Ok. Reboot computer.

2. Clear your cache.  Go to Tools > Internet Options > General tab.  Under Temporary Internet Files, click "Delete Files" button. Click OK.

3. Reset IE settings.  Go to Tools > Internet Options > Programs.  Click on "Reset Web Settings" button. Go to Advanced tab and click "Restore Defaults" button. Go to Security tab and move the bar to Medium or Default. Click OK. Close all browsers. Reboot the computer.

4. Check if a program running in the background is interfering with Internet Explorer. Temporarily disable antivirus, firewall, antispyware, ad-blocker, popup blocker, and all Norton programs.

5. Repair or reinstall Internet Explorer and Outlook Express in Windows XP
