Question : Mysterious gray bar on the top of every page in word
|
|
In a rather complex MS-Word document, approx. 70 pages and a large number of comments and change traces without no known author interaction a gray bar on the top of each page occured. This bar cannot be accessed by any user interface means.
It seems to be a part of the document body, not the headers as it gets grayed when the entering header/footer mode. The phenomenon occurs on all "computers" (We're working in a citrix environment), but only in this document, so it is independet of . Has anyone got an idea how to get rid of it?

Perhaps it's a Page border.
Try Format/Borders and Shading, Page Border tab.
