Question : Website blog

I want to have a blog on my website.  I dont want the blog hosted somewhere else  visitor selects the link for blog and is redirected to Wordpress, Blogger, etc.  Are there any out there that will allow me to keep my visitors on my web site rather than this redirection?

1.Implement your own blog application.
2.Purchase a third party blog application.

There are other options, but the lesson of the day is that most blog providers have their own domain space and usually require bloggers to login to that domain or a domain account to use their blog account.  The only clear way I am aware of is to either setup your own or keep having the redirect.
