Question : Virus; Spyware; Popups; Cookies

We have a computer rental that people use; right now if we use the browser we get pop ups with porn.  In the past I have cleared it by deleting all cookies and temp file but was wondering if there is an automatic software solution which will monitor for Viruses, Spyware and delete all the pop-ups on a daily basis.  I know there are a lot of software but is there one that you would consider as the most optimum based on your experience.

If you are behind a router, it will almost certainly include a hardware firewall, so just enable the Windows firewall.  AVG 8.0 is a popular choice of free av software:
