Question : RPC/HTTPS cannot authenticate with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003

Hello,
Please help. I don't know why my Microsoft Exchange server 2003 does not working.  It is setup as RPC/HTTPS environment.  It has been working fine since 8 months ago perfectly.  Now the server has roughly hosting 250 email boxes and only about 60 email boxes are working using MS Outlook 2003 client.  The ones that are not working with Outlook 2003 client RPC/HTTPS authentication are able to check email through OWA.  The problem I am unable to successfuly config using RPC/HTTPs through MS Outlook 2003 client.  When setup using RPC/HTTPs the errors message came up "Server cannot be found"  I am able to ping the exchange server response with correct WAN IP.  Also, I cannot configure the working email account with cleansed installed PC; I'm getting the same error.  I renewed the SSL certificate not too long ago and that seems the problem arise.  I followed the SSL renew or installation properly but not sure why this is happening.  Only thing I can doubt is I changed from Enom SSL (SBS SSL) to GoDaddy SSL (Instance SSL) vendor. Not sure if by changing the SSL vendor will causing the problem.  Please help

Answer : RPC/HTTPS cannot authenticate with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003

Changing the SSL provider may have caused a problem because of the way GoDaddy deal with SSL certificates. Make sure that you have got the root and intermediate certificates in the right places, otherwise things don't work.

Did you retain the same host name when you changed the SSL certificate?

Simon.
