Question : Outlook prompting for Username/Domain/Password
|
|
I have just started work as IT support at a small company whose whole system is a nightmare. Server is NT4, Exchange is 5.5 (no service packs on anything) and workstations running 95, 98, 2000 and XP throughout the building. One user, when accessing her Exchange mailbox through Outlook 2000 is always prompted for a User Name, domain name and password before it lets her in - everyone else (using a mixture of OL 97, 98, 2000 and 2002) goes straight into their account. I can't see any difference in settings. Can anyone suggest the reason?

Answer : Outlook prompting for Username/Domain/Password

I am not desperate for the points so no offence taken.
XP is "My Computer", "Computer Name", "Change" and then provide computer name and domain. Obviously you need admin privs to do this.

I woulld like to say that for the information provided, i gave the right answer.. Did you say the user was on XP ??
Anyway, hope this helps.
Thanks
