Question : Exchange User cannot recieve external emails

We recently replaced a user at our company to do the same job as someone who was leaving so we just renamed their account with the new users name and added the old users email address to their email list so they could recieve emails for both address.  Now she does not recieve external emails for the old users email account.

Answer : Exchange User cannot recieve external emails

Check the users account in A/D. On the email addresses tab, make sure the smtp email address that they want to receive from is there, if not add it. Also uncheck  Automatically update e-mail addresses based on recipient policy at the bottem.
