Question : Excel shared workbook -- hidden columns (and other settings)

When an individual hides columns in an excel workbook that has been shared, are these columns hidden only for that individual or will they be hidden for all that view the workbook?  Also, in general, what other settings are local vs shared for a shared workbook?  Meaning, which settings will only affect the individual that makes them, and which will affect all users?

Yes, that's correct.  As soon as any user saves the file, any changes made by that user are distributed to the others.
