Question : combobox rowsource in excel

i want to add a combobox to an excel worksheet. i found out how to add the control but i dont find the property that assigns datato the control (in access its the rowsource property). i found some examples the do it with a macro but i want to know how this is done without vba.
can it be done?

Hi yairsuari,

There are two type of Combo Box in Excel. One is one the Control toolbar, the other on the Forms toolbar. You need the one on the Forms toolbar NOT the Control toolbar.

When you have put the combo on the sheet, right click it and choose "Format Control", then go to the Control tab and there you will see the input range. Set this to the range of cells which has your list in it. You also need to set the Cell Link.
