Is there an easy way to set the date format in Oracle Reports to be the standard European format if there is some indication that it is being run in Europe and a default format if there is some indication that it is being run in the United States?

Another method might be to use the format trigger of date fields to call the srw.set_attr builtin to change the format mask, but you would need to do this for all date fields that used a format mask.
