Question : Fedora Core 5 pop3 server is not installed

Hello,

I have a fresh installation of FEDORE Core 5 and after setting up the domain name I'm able to receive email but If I try to get that email
using outlook express from a windoze box it claims that there is no pop server.

How can I install it  ? SMTP works fine from outlook but no POP3

Answer : Fedora Core 5 pop3 server is not installed

You need to install dovecot:

# yum install dovecot

and start it:

# chkconfig --levels 235 dovecot on
# /etc/init.d/dovecot start
