Question : D drive full and access denied
XP installed incorrectly so the new C drive has new windows but the D drive has old stuff with all the file and documents needed to recover. However, I can see the D drive is Full with 0% space left. I cannot open D saying access denied.
Any ideas on how to recover old files?
Thanks in advance
Answer : D drive full and access denied
I have had this happen before, Nobus. Need to check the NTFS security and add a local user from the new installation. May need to propagate to get all of the folders. Hope this helps.
