Question : Adding 64bit windows Server w/ SQL 2005 Node to 32bit SQL 2005 Windows cluster
I have a Windows 2003 Enterprise 32bit OS with 32bit SQL 2005 cluster. I am wanting to add a new node running Server 204 Enterprise 64bit with SQL 2005 Enterprise. Will this work having a 32bit OS and 64bit OS in the cluster. It would also be a plus if I could install SQL 2005 64bit into this cluster as well. My main concern is being able to have a 64bit node in the cluster even if I cannot run 64 bit sql. Any input would be very much appreciated.
