Question : Convert .FLA file to a .FLV file

I am using FLASH 8 PRO and want to simply know how to get my working .FLA file turned into a .FLV file.
Can't i just save as or export to this .FLV format?  If so how?

yes, partially right?

you have to export .FLA file output as QUICKTIME or AVI, but you will get the complete animation as AVI or QUICKTIME only if your FLA has all animation on root frames,
if you have nested movieClips or actionscripted animation, then exported AVI/MOV will not have exact length or animation.

to convert any MOV/AVI or anyother video format, you can use Flash only to convert it to FLV.

although there are many thried party tools available for anyvideo to FLV conversion..
