Question : VPN license limit

I have a Cisco PIX 506e.  The data sheet says it supports 25 concurrent site to site VPN's - see below

Simultaneous VPN peers: 25*
* Maximum number of simultaneous site-to-site or remote access IKE Security Associations
(SAs) supported

we have 25 Cisco 837's used to establish VPN tunnels to remote offices from the 506e.

Am I up to my limit?  

My support company says our "PIX has a minimum of 50 concurrent VPN connections. Depending on the IOS installed it could be more"

Can this be right?

The very latest (and LAST) is ver 6.3(5) which is a maintenance/bug fix release that adds no new features.

ALL 506e's have Restricted only license. There is no upgrade. Only with model 515 and above you could upgrade to UNRestricted (UR) license

This is misleading because of the stated limitations in the documentation.

Personal opinion - your "consultants" don't know the Cisco product very well.
