Question : Groupwise 5.5 unable to print in XP on some machines?

I am in a 2003 domain with a novell server for email that logs in with novell client.  The clients are all XP pro.

On some clients I can not print email messages from groupwise 5.5.  I get an error saying "The specific procedure could not be found"  and it refers to SCCVW.Dll.  On other clients I have no problems.  The users can print from other programs and do test pages just fine.  

Orgionally, the printers were on the netware server but have been moved to the 03 servers.  Default printers on all clients have changed.

Any ideas?

Are you also running another mail application on the affected workstations? I have found that other mail applications can have adverse affects on the windows messaging system (WMS) hooks used by GroupWise.

Try reinstalling the client as suggested in the TID after first using the GroupWise Cleaning agent and removing (reboot) and then reinstalling WMS. Be sure to use the WMS that is suggested for GW5.5 and XP.

1) Remove GW using cleaning agent
2) Remove WMS
3) Reboot
4) Reinstall WMS from TID
5) Reboot
6) Reinstall the client that corresponds with your GW service pack level
