Question : open email header with word

hi,

i recently switched to office xp and am now encountering the following problem.
i have a program witch plots spammailtraffic and saves some email headers as text data.
i then opened the files with word2000 and printed them out.

but the new office xp word has some new features, that now i get the message that my headers are no valid wabarchieve. this is because word sees the tags in the text files and thinks it is an email, witch is of course emty as it is only a header and therefore prints this error message.
how can i tell word xp to open the file as simple text without checking for webarchieve?

File-Open, Recover text from any file.
But you might not get what you want.
