Question : Server 2003 R2 64x - can't install additional networking components
I have installed Server 2003 R2 64-bit. I need to install DNS, DHCP, etc.....but mid-way through the the install wizard it stops and says it can't find a specific file such as dnsmsc or wins.exe and ask for me to insert Server 2003 SP2 disk. I insert the disk and it still says it can't find the files.
Is there a way I can download the files I need just so that I can run the installation of additional network components?
Or does anyone know exactly where these files are suppose to be located like the I386 folder.
Answer : Server 2003 R2 64x - can't install additional networking components
OK - problem solved. I guess the media I had was incomplete and missing files. I found a different media source and that worked.
