Question : How to connect home speakers to a pc?

I would like to know if there are any adapters to connect home speakers to my sound card.
I have a Win NT 4.0 workstation.

Reading through the documentation, it turns out that the VLI8 has a line level output only (that means yopu have to connect it to an amplifier). HP connects that output to their Multimedia Keyboard that has to have an amplifier since you can connect a headphone to it.
With all that information I would suggest if yyou really want to connect speakers to your pc, get yourself a pair of amplified speakers, you get two speakers and a subwoofer for a decent price nowadays. Your Bose are certainly not directly usabel on the pc.
Other suggestion: Are your Bose speakers on a HiFi system? why don't you connect the pc to your stereo system then?
