Why the system error(fatal error) is accompanied with a blue screen?

Answer : Fatal Error

Because when a fatal error occured, the system would not work properly, so it stops with a BSOD ( blue screen of death ). You had the same with Windows 3.x or Win95.
The BSOD gives you needful information about the reason, why NT stops.
