Question : Resolution aspect ration issue for widescreen monitor

Before I installed a new video card my wide screen monitor aspect ratio looked fine no matter what resolution i picked, the only difference would be how small or how large items would be in my display.  However I recently bought a new graphics card and installed it but then I didnt like it so I uninstalled it.  Now I can only choose one resolution for my monitor otherwise things looked "stretched".  I want to know how I can choose multiple resolutions with the only difference being how big items are in the display?  I am using Vista.

Answer : Resolution aspect ration issue for widescreen monitor

I think you'll find it more satistory to change the font size to larger, rather than reducing the screen resolution from its native setting.

You can adjust the font size by right-clicking on the desktop -> Personalize
In the dialog that comes up, click on "Adjust Font Size" on the left side, and choose the "Larger Scale (120 dpi)" font in the next dialog.
