Question : Hyperlink To Outlook 2007 Public Calendar From Intranet

Have an intranet webpage and want to create an "index" of all the public calendars that we use in Outlook.  Figured it would be a simple way for people to find the calendar they want without having to navigate through all the calendars in Outlook.  The goals is that when they click on the calendar link on the intranet page, it would open up that particular calendar in Outlook.

Is there a way to do this?

I've tried various links such as:
Outlook:\\Public Folders\All Public Folders\....

Keep getting errors.  Also right-clicked on the calendar I want to link to and selected "Send Link to This Folder."  That creates an .xnk file which I have also tried to link to without success.  I can't find the correct format that will open up the Outlook calendar by clicking on the intranet page link.

Appreciate any info!

Hi, CCFD1Bill.

Outlook 2007 doesn't automatically install the URL protocol handler for Outlook items.  You have to edit the registry and add an entry.  Her's a link to a page with details: http://mutable.net/blog/archive/2006/09/02/how_to_hyperlink_to_microsoft_outlook_messages.aspx
