Question : files ffastun.ffa

I have windows 98, I always delete the following file
(ffastun.ffa,ffastun.ffl,ffastun.ffo,ffastun0.ffx)
 and they are appears again can some one tell me what these file mean and what is there job in the OS
And if it OK to delete them

If you go to Control Panel\Find Fast, use the Edit and remove indexing for all the drives that are listed in the box if you have more than one drive.  Fast Find is a joke of a program that installed with MS Office and/or Word and it scans your harddrive over and over in the background just so that it will ready "just in case" you decide to open Office or word.  It can seriously affect how scandisk and defrag run also, so most people disable Find Fast for that reason alone.
