Question : Installing Exchange 2003 on new hardware in an existing Exchange 2000 envoinrment

I have two Exchange 2000 servers running on Windows 2000 network in the live envoinrment. I recently installed new Windows 2003 DC (certainly i have run adprep to preparing schema and domain before installing 2003DC). Therefore, now i am now at point where i am about to install Exchange 2000 on the new hardware and then have plan to migrate mailboxes from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003.
So my question is what is the best approach to install Exchange 2003 in an existing exchange 2000 envoinrment but on the new hardware. Is there any good documentation with step by step.

Also, In order to install, should i start running Excahnge installation with "setup /forestprep" on my schema master DC and /domainprep on insfrastructure master which both are on windows 2000, and then just run exchange setup on windows 2003 member server? Is this similar to like when i ran adprep /forestprep on schema master and /domainprep on infrastructure master?

Thanks

Prep is a domain setting, and is separate for Exchange than Windows. You can run forest prep and domain prep from either the domain controller or the Exchange server. It doesn't matter. It just needs to be run from the Exchange CD.
Personally I normally do everything from the Exchange server once it has been joined to the domain. Makes no difference in the end and saves me having to change the CDs around.
