Question : New exchange email group can only shown in "All Groups" in contact list, but cannot shown in "All contacts in Domain"

Hi all,

I am newbie to exchange. I am helping my working place to create a new exchange email group can only shown in "All Groups" in contact list, but cannot shown in "Default global address list" in Outlook.
I want the email group also shown in the "Default global address list" in Outlook.
I checked that the settings in AD is the same of other email groups which can shown in both contact.
Hope anybody can help.

Answer : New exchange email group can only shown in "All Groups" in contact list, but cannot shown in "All contacts in Domain"

Check whether you have mail enabled that distribution list,if not, mail enable this group using Exchange Tasks. After mail enabling, wait couple of hours for replication and see that under GAL.

Also ensure, under email address tab you have got smtp address for this group.

Also see the check box "Hide from global address book..." is not checked.
