Question : Internet Access via mobile phones and portable computers

I plan to spend an extended period living in a caravan, in the UK. I will have a pc, maybe a full size or perhaps a portable model. What is the best way to connect to the internet? Is it via a mobile phone, or perhaps a satelite link? What connection speed could I expect? Is it expensive?

Personally I'm using a compaq laptop and I use a nokia mobile phone to connect to the internet.

For this I use the following: a nokia data cable fit for my model of mobile phone and nokia data suite 3 software.

Just hook the cable to your mobile and the other side to your serial port and you should be able to dialup to a web provider.

Watch out! Telephone costs are huge !!!

Maximum speed using a mobile phone is 9.6Bps ... which isn't really fast ...
