Question : Probs RDPing onto vista after installing VMware

I have installed VMwre Workstation 6 onto Vista Ultimate and cant Remote desktop on to the machine after doing so - I can still access the Vista machines shares but cant access it via RDP - this was working prior to installing the VMware product as I did it via RDP.

A couple of things to check:
1.  Did your firewall get turned on, or lost the firewall exception for RDP (port 3389)?
2.  Still configured for Remote Access (System Properties)?
3.  Run:  netstat -ano  and scan the list to make sure Remote Access port is being made accessable on your system..    Under "Local Address" column, look for:    {your IP}:3389
