Question : C-ISAM
I need to convert C-ISAM database to MS Access. Each C-ISAM table has files with the suffix of .idx, .dat, .bdr, and .dir. These C-ISAM files were used in CEnglish programs but I don't have the source code and have no documentation on C-ISAM. Does anybody know a utility that could be used to access the data in the C-ISAM files? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you have some small examples I'd like to take a look at some, maybe I can suck the data out. I'll bet that the .idx guys you can just throw away, they are probably index files, that you'll have to rebuild anyway. Probably only your .dat files are of interest. Often its possible to study the file and pull out the data with a simple parsing program. If interested, email me a small .dat file at [email protected], and I'll see if it makes sense to me.
