Question : how do I install windows xp pro on to a HP 6735s vista laptop?

Hi, I have a couple of new laptops, which are both Windows Vista home premium. I want to put Windows Xp on them both but when I go for the installation i.e boot from Windows XP CD it gets so far and then blue screens, I have never had this before and always found it quite simple to install Xp on to an existing windows vista desktop or laptop. Please advise

You can try disabling SATA in BIOS and setting it for compatability mode or Legacy, whichever it lists.
