Question : no network/internet conectivity- ip 0.0.0.0 cant renew

Hi all,Im workingwith a windows XP comp with internet connection + network access to other 10 pcs. It all worked fine until this morning that I had to reinstall a software (kaspersky antivirus), at the middle of the process the computer froze and I was forced to manually restart it. I couldn't continue the uninstallation so I just installed it over the existing files, it worked fine, however the internet/network connection was gone for some reason.
I noticed on the tcp/ip configuration that the ip static values were all gone so I wrote them back, restarted the pc but there was no change so I then checked the ip configuration under-> run>cmd> and this is what it got:

C:\Documents and Settings\User>ipconfig/all

Windows IP Configuration

                                            200.48.225.146

1) I have turned off router, DSL modem, etc and turned back on.
2) I have tried the winsockxpfix, which didn't work.
3) I checked all connections, everything is fine, and all other computers work fine.
4) I checked the NIC on another comp, works fine.
5) I checked everything in the device manager, the afd, tcp/ip n netbeans and everything is working fine.
6) I have also tried running the cmd prompt -- ipconfig/release and then ipconfig/renew -- and I get that the adapter is not enabled for dhcp

This is kinda freaking me out...

Answer : no network/internet conectivity- ip 0.0.0.0 cant renew

Boot into safe mode with networking and see if you can obtain an IP like that.

Also verify that your static address is configured correctly, because it looks to not be right.

I would also remove that Antivirus program for a while so we can troubleshoot.

Let me know what happens after u do all this
