Question : groupwise 8201 errors

Hello When my users go into there e-mail they get a error access to file has been denied please note the error code in title for solutions. your system administrator can look up the error code in the groupwise docuemntation troubleshooting guide. groupwise error 8201

when i go on teh groupwise server and look in the poa

there are hundreds of messages saying teh following
teh database facility reported error 8201 on msg * and this is just going accross teh screen. What do I do?

Answer : groupwise 8201 errors

The MSG DB is most likely corrupted or locked. Are there a lot of MSGXX.DBa, DBb, DBc, etc in this OFMSG directory?
Run standard maintenance on it until it returns to normal server or replace it from your last known good backup.

Restoring from tape WILL result in the loss of data for any users that are hosted on this DB!
