Question : Centos Instal Disks - Implant iso md5 from vista
HI,
I downloaded the iso files from centos. I created the discs using a burner on my acer vista. I can successfully install the first disk but the other disks fail when tested and they are not recognized.
This page states something about implanting the md5 into the isos:
Finally, you'll need to implant the MD5 into the isos. Forgetting to do this could cause the ISOs to fail the media check, with an error saying "Unable to read the disc checksum from the primary volume descriptor".

That's great but I have a vista and I'm just trying to create a linux box. So how do I implant the md5 into the isos for the disks 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7?
Much thanks,
vkimura
Answer : Centos Instal Disks - Implant iso md5 from vista
vkimura,
I answered those two questions in your other thread.
Th fact that you did not burn the iso correctly as an image, but as data with additional files, will very well explain why it was too large for a normal DVD.
