Question : Deny access local disk

Hi all, I'm using Window XP Pro. Last week, I locked my local disk (disk D:) to deny access from some users. Unfortunately, I lock all users, also me (administrator). Therefore, I can NOT access disk D:. How can I ACCESS my disk again. Please help me.

Hi NMD,
You have to be an administrator of the machine to do it. You right click on the drive, select properties, Then the security tab, then the advanced button, then the Owner tab. (I think that one is what you missed)
Then select your userrname or just the Administrators group (In the list) then check "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects". When you click on OK or apply, it will warn you about replacing the security on the folders. Say it's OK to do that. (Click on yes) Let it run, depending on how many folders it could take some time to do.
From there you should be able to set privilidges as you want.
