Question : merging a .reg file at boot in XP

i'm using xp-pro sp2 and i can't get a registry hack to stick: at reboot the cahnges in my .reg file are lost !

i can link the .reg file to the startup folder and that works but i get 2 OKs to click and i want to automate the process

how can i do this - ie merge a given .reg automagically at boot

You can also use the /s (for "silent") switch with regedit to eliminate the messages/prompts:

regedit /s file.reg
