Question : Why access 2007 ignore the code which access 2003 executes?

When I convert this database to access 2007 or even open in access 2007,  a lot of lines in the report disappears.  The vertical lines which are supported by code to expand and shrink as the report expands or shrinks also disappear.  Any idea, why?

Please take a look at the Report in the attached database using access 2003 and access 2007.  You will see the difference.

binojpb,

1. Make sure your database is in a "Trusted Location" or no code will run.
(or click the "Options..." button to enable the DB manually)
See here for more info:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/access/HA102564121033.aspx

2. In Access 2007 formatted Databases there is a new view called "Report View"
It is set up as the default view.
In this view *No code will run*.
So if you report depends on certain code to run in order to function normally, open the form in "Print Preview".
Or set Print Preview as the Default view for the Report.

So make sure:
1. Your database is in a trusted location
2. You set the Default View for your Report(s) to "Print Preview" if you need code to run.
