Question : How can i decrypt and encrypted folder or drive.

Hi,

How can i decrypt and encrypted folder or drive.
I had a Hardisk backup that was taken long ago. Which was encrypted. Windows Xp OS.

Now when i connect the HDD in another machine as i dont have the same hardware i can browse through the folders but cannot use the files. How can i get them accessed.
Its a standalone machine.

if you still have the previous user folder under Documents and Settings folder on the backup drive, you have a chance to decrypt the files as the encryption keys lie in the user account folder
