My dad has a logitech 9000 webcam (using XP) and I have a mac laptop with ichat. I used ichat yesterday with another person on ichat and it works fine. However, I cant use it with him. I see him listed on AIM (he now has AIM 6.5, we tried 6.9 and then downgraded to see if it would work) and he has the video icon, but when we go to initiate a chat, my mac says there was a communication error.
He has fully turned off his firewall as well. Does anyone have any thoughts on getting this to work? He's trying to see my son (his grandson) since we live in different states.
