Question : Cannot import calendar and contacts to Exchange 2003 mailbox with Outlook XP
We have just installed a new Exchange 2003 server for one of our clients. The server is running Windows 2003 Server Small Business Server and Exchange 2003 standard edition. Active Directory accounts have been created and all other users are able to access their mailboxes just fine, however one user is having a strange problem:
I exported his POP3 mailbox, contacts, calendar (etc) to a PST file on his desktop. I added his new Exchange mailbox to Outlook XP and imported his mail just fine. When I try to import his calendar or contacts to the Exchange mailbox, I get error messages. When I try to import contacts, it just says "The operation has failed." When I try to import the calendar, it says something about insufficient permissions (which he is the owner of the mailbox), or the folder was moved or removed. When I try to create a new object in either calendar or contacts, the same messages appear. This is very peculiar and frustrating and would appreciate any help possible.
The client PC is running Windows XP Professional SP2 connected to the same domain as the Exchange organization.
