Question : "The connection to the exchange server has been restored"

We have the following setup:

Windows Serve 2003, Exchange 2003 Std SP2, clients Windows XP SP2.
Since 2 weeks we are experiencing the following sysmptom: Some of the clients are getting the message:
"The connection to the exchange server has been restored", including mine.
I ran a -t ping to the mail server and found that there is no connection problem in the time of this meesage. I checked the logs of the clients and server and found nothing.

All clients are in cached mode.

Just to recoup, I don't believe you actually have a problem, I just provided the links as you instisted you wanted to look further into the issue.

Have you used any network monitoring tools to establish whether there are any changes to your overall network traffic?
