Question : Cannot access Public Folders via OWA
|
|
I'm using Exchange 2003 as part of an SBS 2003 server. Public Folders are working fine as part of Outlook, but when attempting to access them via OWA all I get is "Page cannot be displayed". It does not make a difference if I'm local, outside the firewall, or even on the server itself. The behavior is the same. I have no issues at all accessing Private Info store data.
In IIS the path and permissions appear ok, but I imagine there has to be some problem in IIS, or the actual directory which the Public web info is stored, although I have no idea where that is.
Please help
Thanks in Advance.

Answer : Cannot access Public Folders via OWA

The path appeared the same as the Exchange root, but had Public Folders at the end. I ended up using MS Article 883380 to recreate the Virtual Directories. I used method 2, although only deleted my "Public" directory not all of the Exchange related directories as it reccomends. Pretty simple actually, and we were back up and running!
Here's the link to the article for anyone else looking for the solution: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/883380/en-us
Thanks for your help, you definately pointed me in the right direction, so I'm gonna give you the points anyhow.
