Question : Event ID: 9548 Username does not have a master account SID...
|
|
Disabled user /O=/OU=/cn=Recipients/cn=username does not have a master account SID. Please use Active Directory MMC to set an active account as this user's master account.
This warning is all over my Application event viewer after disabling and deleting a bunch of old accounts. The deleted mailboxes do not seem to be showing up as deleted in the System Manager for me to purge either.
Any ideas? The accounts have been deleted.

If you just want to get rid of the warning message, without deleting the email account itself then you just need to change the permissions on the mailbox. Grant the permission "Self" on the mailbox "External Associated Account". Only one account can the be "External Associated Account" so you may have to remove that right from one of the listings.
