Question : URL Appear on Google and Yahoo - Top 10

Hi All,

I did submit my company URL to Google, when I type the keyword - example: "pager singapore", I can see my company URL appear in the search engine. But when I try type the "pager", I can not see my company name appear.

How do I advertise my company website in Google/Yahoo and only type a word - "pager".

Do I need to pay them?

If you want your site to rank high on natural results, that is, on the results that are not advertisement, what you need is a SEO/SEM campaign.

Real search engines don’t accept money for placement. Google and Yahoo have advertisement spots available, and those are for hire, but they are clearly marked as advertisement and people don’t click on them nearly as often as they do with natural results (plus it costs you every time someone clicks your ad).

To position your site for keywords I would suggest you read more on SEO. If you are serious about it and have a budget you would want to be looking for a SEO company to optimize your site and do a link building campaign. If you’d rather do it yourself there are many free tutorials on the subject. For instance:
