Question : No dsa.msc tool after Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Install
I was running a demo of OCS and had it working fine. Now, I have the OCS 2007 R2 demo and all is installed, but I cannot add users. When I try to run dsa.msc on the OCS server, it can't be found. If I try dsa.msc or dsa.msc -32 on a domain controller, there are no user options for the communications server. I installed the admin tools as I know they must be done separately on the OCS server. Everything is running on 64 bit server 2008 ee. I'm just trying to add the users to the standard edition of OCS. What am I missing?
Answer : No dsa.msc tool after Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Install
I figured this out. I needed to go into Server Manager on the server running OCS 2007 R2 and add the Active Directory Domain Services Tools under Features>Remote Server Administration Tools>Role Administration Tools.
