Question : Excel Template (.xlt) wont open into .XLS

G'day,

Easy Question for 500 points:

We have an Excel 2003 Template (.xlt) that should open as an .xls when you open it. However on one users computer when he double-clicks it, instead of opening as an .xls, it simply opens as the template itself (.xlt).

Is there a setting he has that is causing his computer to open templates in EDIT mode, not the default Open and run which generates an actual spreadsheet?

Answer : Excel Template (.xlt) wont open into .XLS

Found the problem, was with the File Association for the Open command of .XLT files. Tools > Folder Options > File Types > .XLT
