Question : how to renew or reissue cert on exchange server for owa and rpc over http

so my exhange server which was built before i got to my job has a ssl cert for owa which is the same cert we use for outlook rpc over htpp, well it expired today and we cant acess our mail, so tommorrow i have to go in and reissue or renew our cert, i found an artile on how to d it but is there naything i should know, please helme, please!

we had a self issued one in the past, so i will be issueing a new one first thing monday morn or maybe tommorow over vpn. how are those articles anything i should know?

also its funny cause the cert i use for rpc over http expires in 2009 but the one on our owa expired yesterday instead of issueing a new one can i just point to the one already installe don the clients that expire sin a year?
